Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (
FCS) is, and how it is different to other causes of high triglyceride-related pancreatitis. FCS is a genetic condition that causes a buildup of
triglycerides in the blood that can increase the risk of abdominal pain and pancreatitis. They also briefly discuss the familial and genetic aspects of FCS, and how it is diagnosed.
